According to Dr. Michael Roizen, there are four number to remember when trying to keep a healthy heart:

Waist size:

the area around your belly button is where harmful fat is stored by the body. Waist size should be one-half of height or less.

Blood pressure:

Target blood pressure is 115 over 75

HDL cholesterol level:

to help you remember, think of the “H” as standing for Healthy and that number should be High

Pedometer number:

A goal of 10,000 steps/day will help towards making your heart more healthy.
